What to Do in Case of a Car Accident

  • Notify the company immediately at 02-68-77777:
    • Policy number and name of the insured
    • Vehicle registration number, make, and color of the insured vehicle
    • Name of the driver at the time of the accident
    • Brief description of the accident
    • Contact phone number of the driver at the scene
  • Record the third party's vehicle registration number, name, address, policy number, and insurance company.
  • After making the call, wait at the scene and follow the preliminary instructions of the claim officer.
  • If the nature of the accident is unclear or neither party admits fault, do not move the vehicle unless police officers have inspected and marked the positions of both vehicles. Do not agree to pay damages or take any action without prior consent from company officers.
  • In case of injuries, assist in taking them to the nearest medical facility, inform the company, and do not negotiate or agree to any settlement without prior consent from company officers.
  • In a hit-and-run incident where the third party's vehicle registration number is known, you must report it to the local police station in the jurisdiction where the accident occurred for prosecution.
  • Please do not flee the scene, as fleeing may result in additional criminal penalties.
  • If both the insured vehicle and the third-party vehicle have Type 1 insurance, you may use the "Accident Confirmation Form" (Knock for Knock) to record details, contact the accident notification officer, and obtain a claim number to send the vehicle for repairs.
  • If the vehicle is stolen, immediately notify the local police, the Auto Theft Suppression Center (ATSC) at 1599, and inform the company right away.
